Protestant Church in Bodonci

Evangelical Church of Bodonci as church municipality existed since 1792, and evangelicals have lived in the area since the Reformation. It is one of the popular outposts of organized groups as well as casual travelers discovering the beauties of Nature Park Goričko. Church was built in 1899 in line with the plans of architect Daniel Placott of Budapest and present a fine example of a church with  a three- naved sacral building; gallery on the floor and tall narrow windows.

The altar is wooden and maded by Ferencz Kuras of Radgona. The altar painting represents Jesus in the Mount of Olives by an unknown author.
